Greg Marrone

PRINCIPAL & FOUNDER

Greg has led the firm over the last 39 years, growing it into a business specializing in exceptionally sophisticated residential construction. Greg began his construction career as a cabinet builder and carpenter in Chelsea, Vermont in 1972, after completing his degree in Environmental Studies at UC Berkeley. He co-founded his first company, a commercial and residential millwork business, in 1975. Greg is a hands-on leader, participating in all phases of a build, including client meetings, construction detailing, schedule reviews, and job completion. When Greg is not working, you can find him skiing in Tahoe, enjoying fine Burgundy wine, and rolling out fresh pasta. Greg lives with his wife Cheryl and their pug.

 
 

Tyler Coke-Marrone

PRINCIPAL & CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Tyler contributes an extensive construction background to the leadership team. He leverages his management skills and hands on experience to focus project teams and streamlining processes. With an unwavering eye to quality and process, Tyler ensures that Marrone & Marrone always delivers high-quality products in the most efficient manner. When Tyler is not working, you can find him brewing beer, trekking to Tahoe for fresh powder, and running. Tyler lives in Potrero Hill with his fiancé, their dog and cat.

Doug Marrone

FIELD OPERATIONS MANAGER & SENIOR SUPERINTENDENT

Doug brings a wealth of high-end residential construction experience to the Marrone team, and his detail-oriented, experience-backed understanding of construction is unparalleled. As Vice President and Field Operations Manager, Doug relies on many years of field experience to ensure accurate detailing and efficient process throughout the construction of each project. Doug passionately enjoys people, is an ardent communicator, and has great excitement for construction details and problem solving. When Doug is not working you can find him playing or coaching hockey, welding, restoring antiques, exercising, and spending time with his family and two dogs.

 
 

Don Wallace

SENIOR ESTIMATOR & PROJECT MANAGER

Don has over 40 years of experience in commercial and residential construction. When Don is not managing projects, he leads our estimating department with a keen eye to detail and extensive experience with all building types. Don brings great value to each project, using his expertise to find alternate approaches when challenging building designs and unique site constraints emerge. He works collaboratively with project teams to define accurate work scopes, to provide real-time cost control, and to expedite project schedules. When Don is not working, you can find him riding horses, gardening, building his personal home, and being the most helpful neighbor on the block.
